Abstract

I am in the process of obtaining a double degree at the U of S; Biochemistry & Biotechnology, and Studio Art. This painting (Harmony) is an abstract painting of the traditional Iraqi art. I used acrylic paint on a 36" x 48" canvas. I got inspired by the Iraqi customs that used to be dominant until the beginning of the '70s. The domes and buildings in the background are what you would see walking down the streets of mid and southern regions of Iraq.
